Meet Alysia & Kevin

These high school sweet hearts were blessed with the most perfect Spring day for their fairy tail wedding!

This is their story…

Kevin and I were high school sweethearts and met in grade 9 when we were 15 years old.  We had been dating for a few months, when we took a family trip up to my Grandma’s cottage for the day.  Walking on the beach together that day I knew that Kevin was the one, and that one day I would marry him.  Years later he told me that it was that it was that day on the beach that he knew I was the one as well.  Almost eight years later, Kevin drove me up to the cottage on a surprise weekend trip.  We walked along the beach in the snow, and he got down on one knee and proposed!

Tell us a little about what you were looking for in a perfect Wedding Day.

The theme we wanted for our wedding was rustic.  We used lots of mason jars, wood crates, burlap and old metal milk cans!  

 

 

What was your best wedding related decision?

The best decision we made about our wedding day was our photographer Cynthia Bendle! (One 12 Photography).  She did an amazing job, and we are so happy with our photos.  Not only is she a great photographer, but she is so sweet and funny, and really makes sure every part of the day goes well.

Why did you choose Bellamere? And What was your favourite feature of Bellamere?

We chose Bellamere because the hall is absolutely stunning and we loved all the wood beams.  We also loved the outside grounds of Bellamere, it was perfect for taking all of our wedding photos.

If you could go back, would you do anything differently?  

Looking back there isn’t anything we would change!  We had an amazing day!
