Cabernet Franc ReserveOur best in category reserve wine, is one of the major red grape varieties worldwide. It offers generous fruit aromas including raspberry and blueberry and has a light peppery perfume. You'll enjoy this well balanced, earthy grape for its soft tannins and low acidity. Properly opened to let breathe and left at room tempererature this wine pairs well with chicken, pasta, beef and a variety of cheeses such as Havarti, Brie and Goat Cheese.
Merlot Cabernet
This wonderful blend is a mixture of Cabernet and Merlot grapes. A smooth rich wine marked by plum, currant and black cherry flavors and which has firm tannins. This smooth rich wine is a valuable companion to red meat dishes and tomato based pastas as well as many varieties of excellent cheeses. Best served at room temperature.
Sauvignon Blanc
The most versatile of all our white wines, Sauvignon Blanc is aged in stainless steel to accentuate the wines crisp, zesty, bracing qualities. It`s paired well with everything from seafood to Cranbella chicken and is best served slightly chilled or with an aged Jarlsberg cheese. It is also known as one of the few wines that can pair well with sushi. Its grassy and herbaceous flavours and aromas, with hints of gooseberry and black currant mark this light to medium bodied wine.
Dry Cranberry
This lively wine is full of fresh cranberry flavour fermented dry to give an excellent balance between the acid of the cranberry and the sugars. Its vibrant cranberry colouring and aromas of fresh cranberries comes with just a hint of spice.Our 2008 best of category fruit wine is easy drinking with turkey, lamb, salmon, swordfish, a variety of cheeses such as swiss, havarti and gouda or just sipping on the patio. Bosc Pear
This medium dry wine is made of 100% Ontario pears.With its fresh pear aroma and a soft lemon fresh clean taste it has been a versatile food companion and a long time crowd pleaser.This dry wine can be served with fish, stir fries, chichen ,pastas or a variety of cheeses such as swiss, cheddar or farmer.Serve slightly chilled
Vat 40 (Poire Sec)
This dry white wine is a light crisp apple pear blend and gets it's name from the Vat number 40 that it was originally blended in. It is a medium bodied and well balanced wine with refreshing acidity and a soft lingering finish. This dry wine can be served with fish, chicken, fish, cream pastas, pork, assorted shellfish and a variety of cheeses such as swiss, Emmental or Asiago. A sweet dessert wine made from 100% pears. The ripe fruit is picked in September and flash frozen. The frozen fruit is then gently pressed.
